A LOUIS XV STYLE ORMOLU-MOUNTED AMARANTH, SYCAMORE AND FRUITWOOD MARQUETRY BOMBE COMMODE BY JOSEPH-EMMANUEL ZWIENER, PARIS, LATE 19TH CENTURY The serpentine brèche marble top above a pair of drawers inlaid sans traverse with a spray of spring flowers and foliage, within a cartouche-shaped frame with foliate handles and centred to the bottom by a flaming urn, with similarly inlaid sides, the angles applied with scrolled acanthus clasps, on tapering legs ending in scrolled acanthus sabots 33 7/8 in. (86 cm.) high; 46 in. (117 cm.) wide; 22½ in. (57 cm.) deep
