Consisting of three items; the first an invoice from Variety magazine dated "March 9, 1960," sent to Monroe in care of her press agency, The Arthur Jacobs Company, in the amount of "$250.00" for a placed advertisement which is attached as a 'tear sheet;' it reads in full "Love and Kisses / Marilyn Monroe / Best Actress in a Comedy / 'Some Like it Hot' / Mirisch Co.-United Artists / Hollywood Foreign Press Association;" the second item is a similar invoice and tear sheet, but from The Hollywood Reporter; the third item is Monroe's own program from The Golden Globes Annual Awards Dinner which took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on March 16, 1961 where Marilyn did indeed win the award for 'Best Motion Picture Actress in a Musical/Comedy.' (Please note the tear sheets are somewhat tattered now due to age.) Various Sizes
