A mid-19th century English porcelain topographical part dessert service possibly Coalport or Ridgway, comprising a pedestal sauce tureen and cover, a pair of oblong dishes with twin foliate handles and six plates, painted with castles and ruins in landscapes within apricot and primrose yellow borders, enriched with gilt, the sauce tureen 6 1/2in. (16.5cm.) high; together with a similar twin handled dish and cover with floral painted reserves. (10) *Condition: Good overall, with no chips, cracks or other significant faults. The plates have some contact wear to the gilt and apricot borders. The similar pot & cover has a little glaze discolouration to the interior.
