A NAPOLEON III ORMOLU THREE-PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE BY DENIÈRE, PARIS, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY Comprising a mantel clock and pair of eight-light candelabra: the clock surmounted by a pair of cloudborne putti, over a circular dial inscribed DENIèRE/FT DE BRONZES/A PARIS , the works stamped 3195/DENIERE/A PARIS , flanked on each side by two further putti each bearing a floral garland, on a shaped base centred by a laurel and guilloche frieze, the candelabra modelled en suite each with a winged putto amidst swirling clouds, issuing eight barley-twist candlearms The clock: 24 in.
