A PAIR OF GILT-METAL PAIR-CASED VERGE WATCHES WITH CHASED CASES Signed Henner, Würtzburg and John Clarke London, circa 1780 Each with gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusee, pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, plain three-armed balance, plain inner case, dial and movement signed ; the first with silvered dial with Roman numerals, the chased and engraved outer case with a scene of Diana at the hunt within an arabesque surround; the second with gilt dial with Roman numerals, the chased and engraved outer case with a classical scene within a scroll-work surround 49mm and 53mm diam.
