Carved in low relief with scenes after designs by Louis-Marc Solon, classical maidens, one emblematic of music with a tambourine, the other with brazier, reverses with beehive and flaming torch, blue ground with gilt floral detailing, signed A Birks, gilt globe marks and impressed MINTONS mark, shape number 2449, date mark 1910
