A PAIR OF PALACE-SIZE CELADON-GLAZED TWO-HANDLED PORCELAIN VASESAPOCRYPHAL MARK OF EMPEROR YONGZHENG CHINA, POSSIBLY REPUBLIC / MINGUO PERIODOf archaistic Hu shape, they rest on a spread foot and have a globular body surmounted by a tubular neck applied with dragon-shape arched handles as well as with loose ring imitation handles. They are intricately carved with various patterns arranged in superposed registers such as kui dragons, lions and stylized banana leaves. They bear an engraved or impressed apocryphal mark of Emperor Yongzheng, a six-character one in seal / zhuanshu script.
