A PAIR OF ROYAL MEISSEN PORCELAIN YELLOW-GROUND BEAKER-VASES MADE FOR SCHLOSS HUBERTUSBURG, THE HUNTING LODGE OF AUGUSTUS III
CIRCA 1739, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS AND DREHER'S MARKS
Probably painted by Johann George Heintze, one with equestrian figures following hounds through a river in pursuit of a stag, the other with equestrian figures and hounds at rest on a rocky bank beneath a wooden bridge with a stone bridge and castle in the distance, the reverses with peony and chrysanthemum in the Kakiemon style, the sides with shaped panels of stylized flowerheads on blue grounds, the flared lower sections reserved with smaller panels of hunting scenes, flowering chrysanthemums and stylized flowerheads on blue grounds within similar shaped cartouches, with gilt line rims
