A PAIR OF RUSSIAN ORMOLU AND PATINATED BRONZE THREE-BRANCH CANDELABRA EARLY 19TH CENTURY, PROBABLY ST. PETERSBURG Each with central vase decorated with classical female figures and lion's masks issuing three scrolled candlearms alternating with dragons and issuing further foliate-cast scrolls and with further scrolls terminating in eagles' heads, hung throughout with chains, each resting on a tripartite base with winged griffins, resting on foliate monopodia legs with berried pendant finial, on a circular base mounted with scrolling foliage and beaded stiff-leaf band, on turned feet, repatinated 37 in.
