A RARE 1856 PATTERN PERCUSSION RIFLED SERVICE PISTOL with 10in. blued barrel, folding leaf-sights, blued flat lock stamped 'VR' crowned, and 'Tower 1858', walnut full stock struck with various inspector's marks and 'Moxham' opposite the lock, regulation brass mounts including trigger-guard and butt-plate, the latter with long tang pierced for a shoulder-stock and stamped 'ELYC 3Rd T' and numbered 32, iron suspension ring, stirrup ramrod, and some original finish, dated 1858 16in.
