A RARE PAIR OF DOUCAI-DECORATED POWDER BLUE-GROUND ROULEAU VASES KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) Each decorated with a scene of the Three Star Gods, Shoulao, Fuxing and Luxing, and young boys, on both Fuxing (god of Rank and Wealth) holds a ruyi scepter and Luxing (god of Blessings) holds a young boy who reaches towards Shoulao (god of Longevity) who holds a peach on one vase and a staff on the other vase, with a banana tree and a crane on the reverse, all in underglaze blue and a doucai palette reserved on a powder-blue ground enriched in gilding with flower scroll, with a decorative band on the shoulder and shou characters on the neck 18 in.
