The spherical body decorated with a marine frieze of aquatic plants and sea creatures, including squid, octopus, sea urchins and a langoustine, between two bands of alternating yellow and blue stylized flowers with red and yellow double lined borders, the underside of the base decorated with a rosette with eight alternate yellow and red petals, surrounded by a further twenty-six yellow petals, mouth and neck missing 4¼ in. (11 cm.) high
