Furthermore enclosed: A Russian silver serving spoon, 1908–1917, weight 66 g; A Russian silver wallet, lined with green silk, lid with gold monogram, St. Petersburg 1908–1917; A Russian silver powder box, lid with the russisk pudderdåse af sølv, låg med “The Bronze Horseman” (the statue of Tsar Peter the Great in St. Petersburg), interior with mirror and powdered sponge, after 1918. L. 21 cm. and 8.4 cm. Diam. 6.5 cm. (4). Provenance: Lucia Johanna Vladimirovna Furman (b. St. Petersburg 1903, d. Copenhagen 1984), lived in St. Petersburg with her daughter, also named Lucia (the younger), who was born in St. Petersburg 1945. They lived here until 1956, when they moved to Denmark and Lucia Furman married her Danish brother-in-law, Ove Viborg-Larsen (b. Nyborg 1896, d. Sundby 1963). Lucia the younger later married Aakesen and inherited the Russian silver from her uncle and mother. Today, Lucia Aakesen lives on Amager island outside Copenhagen. Condition Wear due to age and use, including marks, scratches and wryness.
