A SASSANIAN INSCRIBED SILVER BOWL CIRCA 6TH-7TH CENTURY A.D. Of elliptical form with a short dotted inscription below the rim on one side, 9¼ in. (23.5 cm.) long; a Sassanian silver alloy hemispherical bowl with shallow fluting on the exterior, circa 5th-7th Century A.D., 5¾ in. (14.6 cm.) diam.; a Phoenician bronze bowl, the interior with engraved central radiating lotus petals surrounded by a frieze of conjoined lotus buds and flowers and a frieze with human figures and animals including a bull and birds, holes in side, circa 7th Century B.C., 6 3/8 in. (16.3 cm.) diam.; and a Persian bronze bowl, the exterior engraved with chevron friezes and five panels with stylized horned quadrupeds, circa late 2nd millennium B.C., 4½ in. (11.4 cm.) diam. (4)
