A SET OF TWENTY WALNUT AND UPHOLSTERED DINING CHAIRS IN GEORGE II STYLE, 20TH CENTURY To include a pair of armchairs 100cm high, 56cm wide, 61cm deep, the armchairs 60cm wide Provenance: Private Collection, Berkshire. Condition Report: There are some marks, scratches, knocks and abrasions consistent with age and use, some to the extremities and edges. Overall the chairs are clean and dark stained. There are some knocks including to the shell carved knees. The upholstery is a thick cotton/linen matt damask, which is generally in good order, with some rubbing giving some small tufted slubs and pulled/rubbed threads including to the sides of the chairs and the backs. There is some sun fading to the fabric including to the backs and fronts of some of the chairs backs. Some movement to one of the arm joints of the armchair. Please note we have not inspected the frame beneath the upholstery and can't comment on the condition of this area. Please refer to the additional images for a visual reference of condition.
