Sharps New Model 1859 Carbine with lever action and original percussion ignition system. Walnut wood stock with iron patchbox and furniture and carbine style saddle ring. "F.C. 22" stamped inside patchbox. Fixed front sight with windage rear sight. Correct patent dates and markings on action and barrel. CONDITION: Gun has seen extensive hard use with severe wear on the wood and metal surfaces. Lever on side of gun has broken tip. Replaced forearm screw. Gun still functions and has good mechanics.
