A comparable Spanish Colonial Tortoiseshell Domed Casket, formerly in the collection of Lady Ottoline Morrell (1873-1938), was with Finch & Co., London. Another Spanish Colonial casket-on-stand was offered at Christie's London, 6 December 2007, lot 396, and a further comparable example sold at Sotheby's New York, 20 November, 2001 lot 61.
