A VERY RARE SET OF FIVE SMALL BLACK TIXI LACQUER BRACKET-LOBED DISHES SONG DYNASTY (960-1279) Each shallow dish formed with eight lobes, carved in relief through the black surface to reveal thin red inner layers with two concentric registers of ruyi heads encircling a central stylised flowerhead, with a further band of ruyi -heads to the slightly flared sides on the reverse 20 1/4 in.
