Obst, West Palm Beach, Florida The two chain sections each measure approximately 7 3/4" in length. The clasps appear to open easily and close securely. The locket, especially the back side, exhibits even wear consisting of light scratches and various shallow dents across the surface. The opening and closing action of the locket appears to be in fine working order. The emerald stone, set into the front, exhibits minor cavities/fractures/chips, as well as abraisions along the facet junctions. Both the emerald and the seed pearls appear to be securely set. Necklace is of the age where the components may be a combination of solid gold, rolled gold and gold wash. There is no karat stamping located on either the chains, nor on the locket. Surface-only acid assay test indicates 14K.
