Property from the Descendants of David Goldmann A Vienna porcelain figure group of Harvesters, emblematic of Summer, Circa 1760modelled as two men and a woman among wheat, the woman with pale lavender dress decorated with purple flowers, a short green waistcoat and apple-green hat, one man with green apron, purple-patterned flower-decorated vest and black tricorn hat, the other with iron red vest tied by a pale green sash, seated with a group of birds, shield mark in underglaze-blue, numeral 24. in puce height 8 3/4 in.22.2 cmCondition reportThe seated figure lacking left forearm, with old overpaint to remaining area. Areas of over-paint to extremities including brim of her hat at right edge. Seated figure's nose tip, right thumb tip, left toes, sycthe tool. One bird and a cluster of wheat on base re-stuck. Area of overpaint to heads of corn between two standing figures. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
