A WUCAI 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' BOWL KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722) The exterior is decorated with one iron-red and one green dragon each chasing a flaming pearl amongst scrolling flowers, separated by downward-swooping phoenixes, all below a band of bajixiang and ruyi heads to the rim. There is an iron-red dragon amongst green flames in the interior. 6 in. (15.3 cm.) diam.
