(Occasional light spotting, very light browning, inscription washed from title.) 18th-century mottled calf with gilt armorial at centre of sides, gilt spine with red leather label, red edges (lightly rubbed, small wormholes at spine). FIRST COMPLETE EDITION and the EDITIO PRINCEPS of Agamemnon 'the greatest Aeschylean tragedy, and one of the greatest masterpieces of Western dramatic literature' (Schreiber).
