ESTC records only one copy (NLS). Also issued as a 6p. folio pamphlet (one copy recorded at Yale). A Familar Instructive Dialogue which happened last week at a Tavern near the Royal Exchange, between an eminent merchant of Dunkirk ... and an English Member of Parliament. London: [s.n.], 1748. 8° (180 x 100mm). (Lacks half-title, some soiling.) 19th-century half calf (spine chipped ). Provenance : Duncan McNeil -- Gilmour of Lundin and Montrave (bookplates). One of two editions, both scarce. An attack on the Pelham administration's commitments to Hanover. -- La follie Ecossoise ... comedie allegorique .
