The plot of land of the "Shevet Achim" neighborhood was purchased together with the plot of the adjacent neighborhood "Zichron Tuvia" [across the "Sha'arei Tzedek" hospital on Jaffa Street], with the participation of Jews of all sects, and therefore the neighborhood was named Shevet Achim after the verse "Hineh Ma Tov U'Ma Na'im Shevet Achim Gam Yachad". [Founder of the neighborhood, Rabbi Yosef Rivlin would eloquently say that "Shevet Achim" is an acronym of: Shfanionis, Baghdadis, Yemenites, Urfanians, Halabis, Greeks, and Maghrebis]. It is interesting that most of the land owners signed in this letter are Ashkenazis from Jerusalem. Leaf 25.5 cm. Good-fair condition, mildew damage.
