Original dark green morocco-backed cloth, upper cover richly gilt incorporating the Russian imperial eagle, spine with imperial regalia blocked in gilt, lower side blocked in blind, white moiré endpapers, edges gilt (a few faint marks, extremities slightly rubbed).
