Maul Lee Flood's copy with her Linden Towers bookplate to front pastedown. Maud was the wife of Comstock Lode mining baron James C. Flood. Linden Towers was their mansion in the San Francisco Penninsula city of Menlo Park. The bookplate is engraved with a view of the opulent mansion. Lot Amendments Condition: Corners rubbed with boards showing; front free endpaper skinned and with holes and residue from something removed, else very good in publisher's handsome decorative binding.
