Disbound pamplet. 8 3/8 x 5 inches (21.5 x 13 cm); with section title, paginated [337]-388, with the Declaration of Independence appearing on p. 361, lacks the pastoral plate at p. 351. Some wear to title leaf just touching printed border, clean within, wear to final leaf with loss of text; Together with a second example of the above within The Gentleman's Magazine: Historical Chronicle, Volume XLVI. For the Year M.DCCLXXVI. London: D. Henry, 1776. With all 12 section titles but only 10 of 14 plates and maps (does retain the plate lacking above, the map of the South Pole defective, retains the maps of Revolutionary War interest, the Long Island map with some losses to lower edge), with the Declaration of Independence appearing on p. 361, lacks some other text, the binding worn; And a few others of Revolutionary interest, including the January 1774 issue (disbound pamphlet) containing news of the Boston Tea party, also with a discussion of Captain Cook with a folding map and plate; disbound issues from August and October 1775 (both lacking maps); a bound volume from 1780; and a bound volume from 1789.
