President Monroe signature in strong ink. "Granted unto the said Thomas Leathon late a private in Yeaton's Corps of Artillery a certain tract of land containing 160 Acres... in the Territory of Illinois..." Condition: Faded seal present as well as printed "offer" of a "Map of the Bounty Lands" for one dollar. Strong center fold; crease at bottom right quadrant through Monroe signature but not affecting the autograph which is clear and strong in ink. Very Good.
