The engravings depict all of Florida, the harbor and settlement of Pensacola, the bay of St. Joseph, the town and harbor of St. Augustine, the bay and island of Mobile, and the Tampa bays. "Jefferys, besides his other labors, edited the notes of Roberts, adding to them this general map, which he states he collected and digested with great care from a number of French and Spanish charts taken from prize ships. Among the several plans in this book is one of St. Augustine and its harbor, showing the depth of water, the site of the sea wall, etc." (Cumming).
