She was the wife of George Belliss, and a member of the 1894 trip to Egypt. Below the Cataracts is inscribed by George E. Belliss to Constance Belliss. It appears from the inscription “To my youthful patient ‘Camera Boy’…” that the photographs of the 1894 visit were taken by her, and possibly those of Palestine too.
