AN AMERICAN THREE PIECE BACHELOR'S SILVER TEA SERVICE AND COFFEE POT, all maker's mark of Tiffany & Co., the service circa 1879, the coffee pot circa 1884, the teapot, two drop ring handled covered sugar bowl and cream jug each tapering cylindrical on rim foot, the lower part chased with stiff leaf band, the remainder chased and engraved with continuous flowering foliage between two die rolled bands, the teapot with decorated shaped angular handle and long spout, the partly raised hinged cover conformingly decorated and topped by ball finial-- the teapot 5½in. (13.9cm.) high , the front of the tapering cylindrical, partly swirling fluted, coffee pot, the front chased with two barely clad facing maidens picking flowers and holding hands, the reverse with two angels holding staves, one side with herme below flower basket, the other with boy atop flower basket, also decorated with floral festoons and foliate scrolls, acanthus clad spout and scroll handle, the molded raised hinged, partly fluted cover topped by baluster finial-- 9in. (22.8cm.) high, gross weight 36.5oz. (4)
