An assorted group of famille rose plates Qianlong Including a soup-plate depicting a couple of ladies in conversation with a man standing on a bridge, 22 cm. diam.; a plate enamelled with five flower-shaped panels enclosing pink blossoms between butterflies, reserved on a pink trellis ground, 21.3 cm. diam.; two pairs of plates decorated with a floral design, 22.5 cm. diam.; and a set of three plates painted with a tied bouquet of pink roses, encircled by bamboo intertwined by small flowers, the chain-pattern border suspending daisy-stems, 23.7 cm. diam.
