Ayres of London, the original blue stiff cardboard box, which is lined in white paper, contains: a pair of wooden posts and a pair of vellum covered battledores, all of which are stamped 'F. H. Ayres London', a pair of metal table clamps and netting, the set also includes a boxed Japanese table tennis medal and a 1980s umpires tournament score book, believed to be Chinese in origin; sold together with an Edwardian pine-boxed set of 'Ping Pong or Gossima' by Jaques and Hamley Bros. of London, complete with two battledores, posts and netting
