An Egyptian Limestone Relief Fragment and a Schist Figure of Hathor, 19th/24th Dynasty, 1292-716 B.C. comprising a limestone relief fragment carved in sunk relief with the head of a woman facing right and wearing a wig of echeloned curls bound in a diadem and surmounted by a lotus flower, and a fragmentary schist figure of Hathor dedicated by the priest Horbes, Prophet of Banebdjed, to Hathor of Herakleopolis, the goddess standing with her arms held at her sides, and wearing a close-fitting robe, bracelets(?), belt decorated in relief, broad collar, and striated tripartite wig with uraeus, and headdress composed of the sun disk and ram's horns, the back pillar inscribed on three sides. Heights 5 3/4 in. and 5 1/2 in. 14.6 and 14 cm.
