An Egyptian Polychrome Wood figure of Ptah-Sokar-Osiris, Ptolemaic Period, 304-30 B.C. standing on a rectangular base and wearing a broad beaded and floral collar with Horus-head terminals, tripartite wig bound in a diadem, and crown composed of horns, plumes, and sun-disk, a column of inscription beneath a naiskos containing a winged scarab in front, the back with two columns of inscription, the top of the base with a continuous line of inscription running along the edge and framing three columns of inscription above a single column flanked by Isis and Nephthys, the sides decorated with alternating ankhs and addorsed was-scepters. Height 29 1/2 in. 74.9 cm.
