China Qing dynasty With a smooth grinding surface, carved around the recessed inkwell with a neatly incised rain and cloud border, the stone of a purplish-brown color. Shape: Rectangular form, the base with a recessed rectangular reserve Dimensions: The stone 15.8 x 10.4 x 1.8 cm. The box 17 x 11.5 x 3.5 cm. Condition: The stone with some wear and surface scratches, and one chip to the lower right corner. The box with extensive damage to the lacquer. Provenance: Austrian private collection.
