On being questioned by Krishna, the ssakhi described Radha's lovesick condition to him, "[in your absence], she adorns herself with a profusion of ornaments. Looking repeatedly at her ornaments, she says, "I am Krishna."; verso with a single line of devanagari, translated: "Looking repeatedly at her ornaments, she [Radha] fancies, 'I am Krishna.'"
