AN ITALIAN GILT-METAL, ROCK CRYSTAL AND MOULDED GLASS TWENTY-FOUR LIGHT CHANDELIER PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY The central shaft issuing two-tiers of respectively sixteen and eight scrolled branches fitted with strings of berried and shaped glass beads, and with lappeted drip-pans hung with further glass drops, terminating with a faceted pear-shaped boss, the upper section fitted with short scrolled branches, some of which terminating with moulded flowers and faceted drops, surmounted by an open trellis cage, minor losses and replacements 64 in. (163 cm.) high; 60 in. (153 cm.) diameter
