AN OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE EPERGNE, CIRCA 1825, The circular frame with floral & scroll borders, four leafy scroll supports issuing from a gadroon-edged, revolving pedestal, upon a square base with incurved sides & lion's claw feet, four reeded arms each supporting a small dish frame, with a large cut-glass bowl & three of the four smaller glass dishes, the glass later, 13 in. high (33 cm.), 19½ in. diameter (49.5 cm.).
