An ornamental turning lathe by Holtzapffel & Deyerlein, No. 1232, with single mahogany frame, wood bed, treadle gear, traversing mandrel headstock, dividing pulley (8 rows of holes), iron and brass tailstock, lacquered brass early-pattern overhead, boring collar and six drawers -- 5in. centre height, 44½in.(113cm.)wide overall ; an ellipse chuck with cam ring, eccentric chuck, dome chuck, sixteen other chucks, various collets and spindles, three drill chucks with spindles, six screw hobs, early pattern slide rest with bevel-gear universal cutting frame slide, drill-spindle slide, tool-holder, eccentric cutting frame, horizontal cutting frame, two vertical cutting frames, hand rest, keys and spanner; a slope-topped cabinet containing 67 slide-rest tools and various adaptors, in till and drawer; a flat-topped case containing 142 drills, 19 right-angle e.c.f. cutters in drawer and 113 cutters in bottom drawer (lid defective) ; twenty further drills in wood block; four dee-bit/tap handles; and an electric motor
