An unusual 1821 pattern light cavalry officer's undress sword, the curved 86cm flat-solid section blade by Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall, London, un-numbered, grooved for half its length and back-edged, etched overall with foliate scrolls laurel leaves etc but no royal cypher, makers name in cartouche but no proof mark, regulation three bar guard, stepped pommel, fish-skin covered grip bound with copper wire, complete with its steel scabbard with two hanging rings, good condition overall £300-350 Footnote Made prior to 1854 when the Wilkinson numbering sequence began, presumably made to a special order.
