Watercolor on ivory, 3 1/8 x 2 1/4 in., in an oval gold pendant case, the reverse glazed compartment filled with locks of plaited hair. Condition: Very good. Note: Lady Juliana Penn (1729-1801), nee Juliana Fermore was the fourth daughter of Thomas, first Earl of Pomfret. She married Thomas Penn (1702-1775), in 1751. Thomas Penn was the fifth son of William Penn who founded the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
