Dave Scott photographed Jim Irwin saluting beside the United States flag, the Lunar Module "Falcon" and the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), with Hadley Delta in the background. Apollo 15 marked the first outing of the LRV, enabling the astronauts to cover much more ground during the EVAs.
