Item shows Argentine {Clasped Hands} markings to various parts while left receiver stamped MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891/DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN/BERLIN along with DWM logo. Item comes with cleaning rod and an M1891 bayonet with scabbard and aluminum alloy grip scales. Bayonet stamped MODELO ARGENTINO 1891/F6986 to right ricasso and WEYERSBERG/KIRSCHBAUM & CO/SOLINGEN to right. Scabbard is numbered E2157. Muzzle protector is brass and unsigned. Condition: Good. Bore is frosty with dust but should clean to bright. Metal finish shows a strong blue to underside and polish to internal components but upper barrel and receiver display a brown patina with some oxidation and dust resulting from poor storage. Flecked oxidation to exposed upper length of barrel, to sling swivels, and to buttplate. Stock has some handling wear and dings but retains strong lettering. Bayonet blade has few spots of gray patina but retains a polish on blade with even and unsharpened edge. Guard and pommel show a brown patina while grip scales have dings and mars. Scabbard retains much of original blue but shows oxidation forming at drag. Muzzle protector is tarnished with some residue and scratches overall.
