Provenance : Thomas, Lord Viscount Weymouth, Baron Thynne (armorial bookplate dated 1704). FIRST EDITION of the fifty-two orations of Aristides. It was edited by the Florentine physician, Eufrosino Bonini, and dedicated to Leo X. In addition to the orations, the work includes Aristide's Notitiae Philostrati and orations by other ancient writers. Adams A-1702; Brunet I, 450 ("Belle édition, assez rare").
