A signed provenance letter from Tom STAFFORD rates the food items in this lot: "These food items were leftovers from training for my Apollo X flight of May 1969. They are BROWNIES with ID number 9182 and PINEAPPLE FRUITCAKE with ID number 8317. There is also a white cleaning towel which was a nice item to have after eating. The small red velcro squares are indicators for flight commander issued items. The brownies were quite good, a great snack item. Both have a small red Velcro tab which is a NASA designation for food issued to the flight commander.
