Attributed to Henry Pether (fl.1825-1865) Fisherfolk along the shore at midnight oil on canvas laid on board 50 x 60cm £400-600 Condition: Oil on canvas later laid onto hardboard and now starting to lift away, a fine craquelure running throughout, looks perhaps to have been a little cut down, no sign of any signature, plain wood frame from c.1940, old typed labels verso including owners label for Sir John (Mrs Darlington)
