Beschreibung:

Lot of 4. Clipped signature of Helen Keller (1880-1968). Keller's The Story of My Life (1903) was extremely popular and went through various adaptations for stage and screen. Signed photograph of Pat Paulsen (1927-1997), wrapped in an American flag (and little else), presumably a photo for one of his many Presidential campaigns. Comedian and satirist, Paulsen was best known for his appearances on the Smothers Brothers television show. Signed "Who's a loser / Best of wishes / Pat Paulsen." Check signed Louis Bromfield, Mansfield, Ohio, April 1, 1944. Bromfield (1896-1956) was an author and early proponent of sustainable and organic agriculture. He won the 1927 Pulitzer Prize for Early Autumn, but wrote over 3 dozen books. TLS, Baton Rouge, LA, July 20, 1944. Signed Francis Parkinson Keyes (1885-1970). Author of nearly 50 novels and biographies, many set in Louisiana. Letter is to Eleanor St. George, a "fellow collector of dolls." St. George wrote about antique dolls. With cover.
