.22 Short, 22" round barrel, no S/N. Blued finish, checkered pistol-gripped walnut stock and forend. Receiver and part of the barrel are deeply engraved in the German style with flowing floral sprays and game scenes on the sides of the receiver. Flip-up adjustable rear sight, dovetailed front sight. Condition: Fine overall. Retains most of the blue finish, with the engraving remaining crisp, sharp and clear. Mechanically functional, fine bore. Stock with handling marks, bumps an dings, and a couple of fine grain cracks behind the receiver at the wrist. A really lovely little Belgian Browning rifle with a wonderfully engraved receiver.
