Sold with all faults. Theater legend Sarah Bernhardt inscribes this photograph for the greatest actress of the early 20th century, Laurette Taylor [1884-1946]. In 1913 Taylor was starring on Broadway in the classic show, Peg o’ My Heart, which ran for two years before touring the country extensively. Taylor is best remembered for having created the part of Amanda Wingfield in the original Broadway production of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie.
